Greek Chicken Wraps with Cucumber Sauce

Juicy Greek-seasoned chicken strips wrapped in warm flatbreads and topped with a refreshing cucumber yogurt sauce. A light, flavorful meal that’s quick, healthy, and satisfying!

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Cucumber Sauce (Tzatziki-style):

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 flatbreads or pita breads
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Red onion rings
  • Crisp lettuce
  • Feta cheese crumbles (optional)

Instructions

1️ Prepare the Chicken

  • In a bowl, toss chicken strips with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken strips for 6–8 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

2️ Make the Cucumber Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and dill.
  • Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Keep chilled until ready to use.

3️ Assemble the Wraps

  • Warm flatbreads in a pan or oven.
  • Layer lettuce, chicken strips, tomatoes, onions, and feta cheese.
  • Drizzle generously with cucumber sauce.
  • Roll up tightly and slice in half.

4️ Serve & Enjoy

  • Best served fresh with extra sauce on the side for dipping!

  • Add Kalamata olives for an authentic Greek touch.
  • Swap chicken with grilled shrimp or lamb for variety.
  • Make it lighter by using whole wheat wraps.
