Juicy Greek-seasoned chicken strips wrapped in warm flatbreads and topped with a refreshing cucumber yogurt sauce. A light, flavorful meal that’s quick, healthy, and satisfying!
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Cucumber Sauce (Tzatziki-style):
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- ½ cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
- Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Wraps:
- 4 flatbreads or pita breads
- Sliced tomatoes
- Red onion rings
- Crisp lettuce
- Feta cheese crumbles (optional)
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken
- In a bowl, toss chicken strips with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken strips for 6–8 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
2️⃣ Make the Cucumber Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and dill.
- Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Keep chilled until ready to use.
3️⃣ Assemble the Wraps
- Warm flatbreads in a pan or oven.
- Layer lettuce, chicken strips, tomatoes, onions, and feta cheese.
- Drizzle generously with cucumber sauce.
- Roll up tightly and slice in half.
4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy
