Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta

This creamy garlic chicken pasta is comforting, flavorful, and done in under 30 minutes. It features juicy chicken breast pieces in a velvety garlic cream sauce, tossed with tender pasta and garnished with fresh parsley.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cubed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta
    Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Chicken
    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and fully cooked (about 5–7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Cream Sauce
    In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add Parmesan & Chicken
    Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth. Return chicken to the pan and mix.
  5. Combine with Pasta
    Add cooked pasta into the sauce. Toss until everything is well coated and creamy.
  6. Serve & Garnish
    Plate the pasta and top with chopped fresh parsley and (optional) red pepper flakes.
