Grilled Chicken Wings (Crispy & Smoky)

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs (about 1 kg) chicken wings (drumettes and flats)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional, for extra zing)


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prep the wings: Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels (this helps them crisp up).

  2. Marinate: In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, spices, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Let sit for at least 30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for deeper flavor).

  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (around 375–400°F / 190–200°C).

  4. Grill the wings: Place wings on the grill in a single layer. Cook for 20–25 minutes, turning every 5–6 minutes, until charred, crispy, and cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F / 74°C).

  5. Serve hot: Garnish with chopped parsley or lemon wedges. Serve with ranch, blue cheese, or spicy dipping sauce.
