Fall-apart tender, juicy, and packed with smoky-sweet flavor — this slow cooker pulled beef is the ultimate comfort food. Perfect for sandwiches, tacos, rice bowls, or just piled high on a plate!

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs chuck roast or beef brisket
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce (your favorite kind)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Optional for serving:

  • Burger buns or sandwich rolls
  • Pickles or coleslaw
  • Extra BBQ sauce for drizzling

Instructions:

1️ Prep the Beef:

Pat beef dry with paper towels. Season all over with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder.

2️ Load the Slow Cooker:

Add sliced onion and garlic to the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the seasoned beef on top. Pour in beef broth, then drizzle with BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and vinegar.

3️ Slow Cook:

Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 4–6 hours, until the beef is fork-tender and shreds easily.

4️ Shred & Sauce:

Remove beef, shred with two forks. Skim fat from the juices, then return beef to the pot and mix with the flavorful BBQ sauce mixture.

5️ Serve:

Pile onto buns, top with coleslaw or pickles, and drizzle with extra BBQ sauce if desired. Also great in wraps, tacos, or over mashed potatoes!
