Steak with Haunted Bourbon Garlic Cream Sauce

Flavorful Craving

Rich, smoky, and a little mysterious — this steak is seared to perfection, then drenched in a creamy bourbon-infused garlic sauce that haunts your taste buds in the best way possible. The secret? A splash of bourbon, slow-roasted garlic, and just enough cream to make it sinfully smooth.

Ingredients (Serves 2–4):

For the Steak:
• 2 ribeye steaks (or your favorite cut)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 1 tsp smoked paprika

For the Haunted Bourbon Garlic Cream Sauce:
• 2 tbsp butter
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/3 cup bourbon
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
• Salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
• Fresh thyme (optional)

Instructions:

Sear the Steak:
Pat steaks dry. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side (or to your liking). Remove and let rest.

Make the Haunted Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
Carefully add bourbon (off heat if needed to avoid flare-ups), then return to medium heat and reduce slightly.
Stir in cream, Dijon, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Simmer 3–5 minutes until thick and glossy.

Bring It Together:
Slice the rested steak and spoon the warm haunted bourbon cream sauce generously over the top. Garnish with fresh thyme.
