Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 ½ cups sliced mushrooms
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Non-stick spray or oil for foil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 burger patties.
  3. In another bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Tear 4 large sheets of foil and spray lightly with non-stick spray or brush with oil.
  5. Assemble each packet:
    • Place a portion of potatoes in the center.
    • Top with a burger patty.
    • Add a handful of sliced mushrooms and red onions on top.
  6. Fold the foil tightly to seal each packet.
  7. Grill or bake for 25–30 minutes, until potatoes are tender and burgers are fully cooked (160°F internal temperature).
  8. Carefully open the foil packets. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each burger. Close loosely for 2 minutes until melted.
  9. Optional: Add a small pat of butter over the potatoes for extra flavor.
